The festival is held in the centre of Gore in the Arts and Heritage Precinct, on Hokonui Drive. This unique location allows festival patrons to visit the Hokonui Moonshine Museum and Eastern Southland Gallery during the festival.

Pre-sale tickets are $50 per person (includes booking fee).
Gate sales will be $60 per person, unless tickets are sold out prior to festival day.

Under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
For those aged 18 years and over, please be aware that due to local bylaws and liquor licensing restrictions, you may be asked for photo ID if you wish to purchase alcohol at the event.
NO DRINKS OR FOOD WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN. There will be a range of food, wine, beer, cider and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase on site, including bottled water, so you won’t go hungry or thirsty! While there will be EFTPOS available, it’s advisable to bring cash on the day.
Seating and tables will be available on the grass/sealed areas in front of the stage, but you’re welcome to bring your own picnic blankets and chairs. You may wish to bring sun umbrellas for use at the tables. The festival will go ahead rain or shine – so bring sunscreen or wet weather gear as conditions permit. While there will be EFTPOS available, it’s advisable to bring cash on the day.
No food or beverages whatsoever including bottled water, No glass of any kind, No professional cameras or recording devices please. Bags may be searched by security on entry.
11.45am – Gates Open
12.00noon - Performers begin. Individual performance times are not released prior to the festival.
6pm - FESTIVAL CONCLUDES
There is a no pass-outs policy, meaning once you're in you can't leave unless you're leaving the show for good – so make sure you bring in everything you want from the car when you first come in.
Plenty of street-parking is available outside the festival site.
Yes, EFTPOS will be available but it's advisable to bring cash.
The Hokonui Moonshiners’ Festival goes ahead rain or shine and accepting this is a condition of buying a ticket. This is an outdoor festival so come prepared, with either sunscreen, sunhats, or rain protection gear if needed!
